I’m so excited to share our big news!
First of all I want to say a HUGE thank you for all the patience you’ve had with me while I figure out family life and blogging life.
Summer came and went fast, and I soaked up every minute in the sun with my kids. While I love writing recipes, two of my children are still at home with me during the school year and need my full attention at this time. So, are you ready for the big news??? We’re so excited to unveil our newest direction that I want to take this blog.
So there you have it: big news for our little blog! I’m so happy for you all to be apart of this! Thanks so much for all your support through comments, because you’re what keeps us going.
If you follow my facebook page, or my insta you probably saw this coming, but I’m super excited to take Three Little Foodies in this direction. I’ve enjoyed all your comments, and truly believe that a new focus on exciting school lunch ideas and tips lines up perfectly with the Three Little Foodies brand (I hope you feel the same!). I am not completely done creating recipes, and you might see a few pop up every now and then when we have the time, but my original intention with this blog was to get my kids involved (after all, its called Three Little Foodies) so, think of this more as a food lifestyle blog showing kids where food comes from, healthy lunch options, and fun ways to get involved in the kitchen. I’m excited to show you all this, and hope that you take what you’ve learned and pass it on to your children.
With that being said, throughout the year I’ll post photos of my son’s lunches for you to use as an inspirational guide for your own child’s lunches. We’ve all had those “Just grab a pop tart and go” moments when we’re rushing out the door and can’t put any effort into lunch. Believe me when I say “I’ve been there too” and I feel like a guide to lunches would be just the inspiration I need to figure out whats working with other moms and what isn’t. Now that my son is GROWING LIKE A WEED, I’ve realized he needs a more balanced meal, so I’m constantly adding new things to his lunch to see what keeps him fueled and what doesn’t. So, that’s how I got this idea to document his school lunches. I actually have a lot of fun putting the time into it, and love the feedback you all have given me so far.
Take care and Happy cooking!
